BERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE


I love baking cakes, especially for birthdays!  
But today I present you with a cake I made for no celebration at all! This berry chocolate cake,  is super easy to make and is very yummy. 


PREP TIME: 20 MINUTES | COOK TIME: 40 MINUTES | DIFFICULTY: EASY 

CHOCOLATE BERRY CAKE INGREDIENTS 

+ 2 eggs 
+ 220g brown sugar
+ 1 tsp vanilla extract
+ 120g unsalted butter, chopped
+ 240g sour cream
+ 225g plain flour
+ 75g cocoa powder
+ 1/2 baking powder
+ 300g thicken cream
+ 1 tsp brown sugar

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 160ÂșC. To make cake, grease the baking trays  and line with baking paper. Place butter and sugar in a saucepan. Cook, stirring, over medium heat for 3 minutes or until sugar dissolves and butter is melted. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Sift over flour with cocoa and baking powder, then whisk until smooth. Divide batter between pans.

Step 2: Bake, swapping pans halfway, for 35 minutes or until a skewer inserted into centres comes out clean. Cool cakes in pans for 5 minutes. Turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 3: To make whipped cream, place thicken cream and brown sugar into the mixing bowl. and mix until cream is nice and thick.

Step 4: Bake, swapping pans halfway, for 35 minutes or until a skewer inserted into centres comes out clean. Cool cakes in pans for 5 minutes. Turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 5: Spread the whipped cream over top of 1 cake. Top with second cake, then gently press together. Sprinkle all kinds of berries you like onto the top and second cake layer and Enjoy!

Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette Review


Guys, can you believe it were in June already?!

Today I've got a beauty review for you all. This is my first Tarte Palette and I'm in love with it! Love the packing - a beautiful purple ombre palette with gold writing. The quality of these twelve matte shadows are out of this world! The shades are super gorgeous and are very buildable. Love using Super mom, Caregiver, Free spirt and Natural beauty from the Tartelette.  I definitely want to get the Tartelette in Bloom Clay Palette next. 


Free Spirit: is a light and pale yellow beige eyeshadow with a warm undertone with a matte finish.   
Force of Nature: is a medium brown with a warm and slightly reddish undertones with a matte finish.
Dreamer: is a dark brown with warm and yellow undertones with a matte finish. 
Multi-Tasker: is a dark brown with warm and reddish undertones with a matte finish.
Caregiver: is a light pinkish with subtle and cool undertones with a matte finish.
Natural Beauty: is a subdued and a pinky taupe eyeshadow with a matte finish.
Best Friend: is a muted medium dark purple with a subtle, cool undertones with a matte finish.
Bombshell: is a blackened purple with a muted quality to it with a matte finish.
Super Mom: is a very light beige with a subtle warm undertones with a matte finish.
Wanderer: is a light medium brown with subtle, warm undertones with a matte finish.
Power Player: is a warm, taupe brown with a with a matte finish.
Fashionista: is a rich black eyeshadow with a matte finish.
